There is a longstanding debate about the appropriate age for children to begin their formal education and how they should spend their time during their early years. Some argue that children should start their education at a very young age and dedicate most of their time to school studies, while others believe that young children should spend the majority of their time playing. Both views have their own merits, but I personally believe that a balanced approach is necessary.

Proponents of early formal education argue that starting school at a young age can provide children with a head start in their academic and intellectual development. They believe that exposing children to structured learning environments and academic subjects early on can help them develop crucial skills and knowledge that will benefit them in the long run. Additionally, they argue that dedicating more time to school studies can help children excel academically and prepare them for the competitive nature of the modern world.

On the other hand, advocates for play-based learning argue that young children learn best through play and exploration.
