Sample Answer:

In today’s interconnected world, it is undeniable that developing nations often require international assistance to overcome various challenges. While some argue that monetary aid is the most effective form of support, others believe that practical help and advice would be more beneficial. In my opinion, a combination of both approaches is necessary to address the complex needs of developing nations.

Those who advocate for monetary assistance argue that it provides immediate relief and can be allocated to address pressing issues such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. For instance, financial aid can be used to build schools, hospitals, and roads, which are essential for the overall development of a nation. Moreover, it can also be used to provide relief during natural disasters or humanitarian crises, saving lives and easing the suffering of affected populations.

On the other hand, proponents of practical help and advice argue that simply providing money does not address the root causes of poverty and underdevelopment. They argue that skills training, technology transfer, and capacity building are crucial for sustainable development. For example, providing training in agricultural techniques can increase food production and improve food security in a nation. Additionally, offering expertise in governance, public administration, and business management can help build institutional capacity, leading to long-term economic growth and stability.

In my view, both monetary aid and practical help are essential for the development of nations. While monetary aid can provide immediate relief and address urgent needs, practical help and advice are necessary for long-term sustainable development. Therefore, international assistance should be a combination of financial support and capacity-building initiatives to ensure that developing nations can build a better future for their citizens.
